Have you ever felt the need for change? You can’t explain why, but something inside of you wants to be different?
Yeah, I felt the same. So, what, new haircut rights? I had the idea of face frame, layers, two inches off, the whole shabang. Well, change isn’t as easy at it looks. Well, if you have actually seen the entire process of “change” it doesn’t look easy- so- change may not be as easy as it seems. Here I am sitting in the hair salon when all of the sudden I am nervous. Very nervous, for a simple haircut! End of story, did get the face frame and an inch and a half cut off my hair. My hair is still very long, or so I am told.
New hair cut Style? I’ve always been Madewell/Free People. I was either very preppy, preppy, or preppy with a twist of boho. My sister has always been, her new favorite word, trendy. She has a billion solid flowy sheer blouses, black leggings, studded combat boots, and everything WILDFOX. I am not saying I want to go to this extreme, but perhaps a nice medium will do,
Maybe I can be, dare I say, rock and roll? Except, I don’t really know rock music that much. I like all of the t shirts and more edgy clothing, but can I wear The Who shirt, not knowing who The Who really is? Let’s just say I had to do a lot of googling and Wikipedia time researching Jimmy Page and Nirvana. Apparently, there are a lot of Nirvana fans in my school. Who knew?!
My new style will be a combination of Chaser + Wildfox + Madewell + Free People + who knows!? What will all of this equal? I wonder what my new style classification will be. Anyway, I love all of my clothes, there is no getting rid of them, but some fresh and edgy pieces will be an exciting way to start out the new year! Hey, maybe I will buy a skull shirt? For me, that is as daring as its going to get.
